AI Committee Survey

Introduction

UMA's Artificial Intelligence Committee, composed of staff and faculty, invites your participation in the following survey.

Goal: The goal of the survey is to assess UMA's current capabilities and applications of AI and identify existing use cases and areas where AI can be further integrated to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.

Objective: The objective is to gather input from key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and IT personnel, to understand the current use of AI, pain points, and potential areas for improvement. After starting with this audience, we can approach our student audience.  

Your feedback is crucial in helping us map the current landscape and anticipate future needs. The survey is designed to be user-friendly and adaptive, meaning it will adjust based on your responses, ensuring that it only asks relevant questions. This approach minimizes the time and effort required to complete the survey, making it an easy and engaging experience.

Your participation will directly influence our strategies and initiatives, helping us to better serve our academic community.

Survey Details:
  • Duration: The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
  • Confidentiality: Your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and all data will be anonymized to ensure your privacy.
  • Generative AI Tool(s): This type of AI creates new content that resembles something a person might produce. For example, it can write essays, create artwork, compose music, or design visuals. Think of tools like ChatGPT that can help write text, or DALL·E, which can generate images based on a description.
