NYC PRHYLI Capstone Club Survey 2024-2025

NYC PRHYLI Capstone Club: Please complete this brief survey by Monday, May 6 at 3pm.



Chapter 271 of the Laws of 2012 (Section 815 of Education Law) established the New York State Seal of Biliteracy to recognize high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English. The NYS Seal of Biliteracy will be awarded by the Commissioner to students who meet criteria established by the Board of Regents and attend schools in districts that voluntarily agree to participate in the program.

7. Seniors must complete all parts of the Capstone Biliteracy Project by May 30th.

Please indicate your commitment to continuing (includes revising essays and assignments as needed, meeting all deadlines). We will work with your school-based coordinator to schedule your Part 4 presentations.

All students who continue with PRHYLI will be acknowledged by the Division of Multilingual Learners, along with PRHYLI alumni statewide who have obtained the Seal of Biliteracy. Additionally, all PRHYLI students will receive an additional certificate. Please indicate you are committed to completing the project with PRHYLI support.
