VetSurgeon.org: Factors influencing the clinical advice given by vets to clients

About This Survey

Survey Background

In the light of the rising costs of veterinary care, the CMA report, the historical pursuit of clinical excellence (aka 'Gold Standard') and society's changing relationship with risk, this survey aims to discover how much of a bearing that these issues have on the way that you as a veterinary surgeon practise veterinary medicine.

There are eight main multiple-choice questions and the whole survey should take no more than three minutes to complete.

When answering, please bear in mind that multiple choice answers to survey questions can never cover every eventuality and we are looking for you to pick the ones that MOST CLOSELY MATCH your true response.

The survey questions do not require any personal data to be submitted nor do they request information that makes the individual respondent identifiable personally.

Completion of the survey is anonymous.

At the end of the survey, there is an option to provide personal data in the form of your name and contact details – this is entirely optional and does not preclude submitting survey responses.

A separate consent statement is provided for processing this personal data at the end of the survey.

You can withdraw from this survey at any time. Before you submit your answers on the last page, simply closing the webpage will delete all responses and they will not be submitted. If you wish to withdraw post-submission, please email the investigators (email addresses below) with date and approximate time you submitted and we will withdraw your responses.

Thank you for your help with this survey, and giving your time to complete the questions which we hope will produce both interesting and useful data.

All the best,
