Violence Prevention Community Calls Registration

Thank you for your interest in participating in our upcoming Violence Prevention Community Calls.  Please complete the following registration form to share your interest in participating in our upcoming programs (find your local time here).
 

August 22, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:30 am PDT. On this community call, we will discuss URI's Global Campaign to End Violence, and seek input and support on implementing this campaign in all URI regions. 

September 19, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:30 am PDT. As a part of our celebration of the International Day of Peace (IDP), we will highlight the terrific work of CCs that are engaged in violence prevention and peace education. If you wish for your CC to be highlighted during this call, please send an email to Larissa, Labaunza@uri.org no later than September 1, 2024. 

October 17, 2024, from 6:00 -  7:30 am PDT. Join us as we discuss the urgency in preventing election-related violence. This call will serve as an opportunity for members of our network to share experiences and lessons learned, offer feedback, and identify ways to collaborate to prevent violence. 

November 21, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:30 am PDT. We will focus on sharing lessons learned for doing peacebuilding working on the ground in difficult situations where there are active militias or gang violence, with a special focus on Iraq and Honduras. 

December 19, 2024, from 6:00 - 7:30 am PDT. Join us as we reflect on a year of violence prevention at URI and set our sights on the year ahead.
