BPHC Workforce Well-being Technical Assistance | Community of Practice 8 Application

Thank you for your interest in participating in one of the BPHC Workforce Well-being Technical Assistance Communities of Practice (CoP)! Please review the information below and answer the following questions, then hit submit to apply. 
The Communities of Practice (CoP) are an important technical assistance opportunity designed for health centers who are committed to implementing, or are already implementing, workforce well-being initiatives. Each CoP focuses on a topic that addresses one of the key drivers of workforce well-being to assist health centers with creating, implementing, and evaluating individualized Action Plans. CoPs will comprise up to 30 participants who will meet for 90 minutes every other week over a four-month period. In addition, participants can receive additional optional technical support in between meetings during our scheduled office hours. 


Topic: Integrating Workforce Well-being into Health Center Culture
Date/Time: September 24, 2024 - January 7, 2025. Every other Tuesday (8 Sessions) from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. ET
Main Audience: Health center managers and directors responsible for daily operations (e.g., COO, Human Resources, finance, operation directors, clinic administrators, office managers, nurse managers, etc).
Staff from any HRSA supported health centers are eligible to apply. However, priority will be given to:

  • Health center managers and directors responsible for daily operations for the health center.
  • Applicants who have stated a high commitment to implementing a workforce well-being initiative as stated in their application.
This Community of Practice (CoP) will equip participants with strategies to create a supportive environment that fosters open communication, ethical practice, and mutual respect.

By the end of this CoP, participants will:
  • Learn how to promote work life balance.
  • Leverage affinity groups for peer support, ultimately enhancing workforce well-being and resilience.
  • Engage with a community of peers to share practical experiences and develop innovated strategies using Action Planning.
  • Build a culture of support, transparency, and inclusivity, ensuring a healthier and more productive work environment for everyone.

14. Community of Practice sessions will be one hour of information and interactive discussion (12:00 - 1:00 p.m. ET) followed by an optional 30 minutes of facilitated problem solving with the subject matter expert (1:00 - 1:30 p.m. ET). How many of the eight sessions will you be able to attend?
