Heights Press accepts both agented and unagented submissions; please use our online form to submit and note the following:

Only submissions through the online form will be reviewed
Submissions sent by email or physical mail will not be accepted or reviewed.
Any submissions will not be returned, and Heights Press is not responsible for any materials submitted.
We do not review or retain any materials that are not properly submitted.

By submitting your materials for review, you agree to hold Heights Press harmless from any resulting claims and we do not assume any obligation to refrain from publishing a project based on a similar idea, concept or story.

A submission should be in the form of either a pitch (3-4 sentences) or a proposal (query letter). Do not submit full manuscripts. Full manuscripts will not be accepted or reviewed unless specifically requested in response to a pitch proposal.

If Heights Press wishes to pursue a project you will be contacted through your submitted contact information. Please allow for at least 3 months for a response. Due to the number of submissions, we are able to respond only to projects we wish to further consider. If you have not received a response after 3 months we will not be moving forward with further consideration of your project.
