Welcome to the UKHospitality survey on trade credit insurance. Trade credit insurance provides an opportunity to improve trading terms with suppliers and the the potential to enhance cashflow. However, the market for the hospitality sector is relatively limited and therefore the sector is not fully benefiting from it, creating the risk of constrained growth potential for hospitality businesses.
This survey aims to understand the extent to which hospitality businesses use trade credit insurance and what the barriers to its use are. The aggregated output will be used to engage with the trade credit insurance sector in an attempt to broaden the supply of insurance to the sector at competitive rates, thereby ensuring greater provision to hospitality businesses. The results will also be used in our engagement with Government on developing resilience within the hospitality sector.
All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence and only aggregated results will be published. The deadline for responses is Friday 6th September.
