DESE Delivered: Onsite training and technical assistance opportunities application

This is a limited opportunity for program operators to receive targeted and personalized training, technical assistance, and support for their operation of the CACFP. Programs will be able to receive feedback on specific program documents and procedures, and work with a DESE consultant to answer specific questions and concerns. 

As we pilot this technical assistance opportunity, we will be limiting our offerings to six (6) programs over the course of the fiscal year. Programs will be selected based on their specific identified training needs and the amount of CACFP training previously completed. Priority will be given to programs who have specific training content requests, have already completed available training in those content areas, and who are not up for an onsite review in FY25.  

Programs can apply for this opportunity through October 31st. Programs will be notified of the decision by the end of November, and programs will coordinate with their dedicated consultant to schedule the onsite visit.

Please note: these opportunities will not count towards the annual staff training requirement for sponsoring organizations. This opportunity cannot be scheduled in coordination with an onsite professional development day.
