CTA CompTIA Training Program Application - 2024

Thank you for your interest in the Colorado Technology Association training program, offered in partnership with CompTIA. Below are considerations for the application and your responses.
 

This application is to apply for the free, virtual, self-paced CertMaster Learn + Labs training in ONE of the following CompTIA training pathways:
 

• CompTIA ITF Fundamentals Certification Training - an introduction to basic IT knowledge and skills.

• CompTIA A+ Certification Training - the industry standard for starting a career in IT.

• CompTIA Security+ Certification Training - a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career.

• CompTIA Data+ Certification Training - an early-career data analytics certification for professionals tasked with developing and promoting data-driven business decision-making.

Colorado Technology Association’s training program is offered, in whole or in part, through federal award number SLFRF0126 awarded to the State of Colorado by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This includes funding appropriated to the Colorado Workforce Development Council through HB21-1264. Program participants must meet one of the following to be eligible:

• Individuals who qualify for certain federal assistance programs

• Households residing in a Qualified Census Tract (QCTs)

• Individuals who experienced an economic loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as lost or adverse changes in employment, increased food or housing insecurity, or withdrawal from school

Program Requirements:

• Must complete training program in full by December 1, 2024
• Ability  to navigate online platforms and perform internet search
• Proficient in English (reading and writing)
• Colorado resident
