It is recommended before attending ACT that Trainer Candidates are active members of the Positive Discipline Association at the Trainer Candidate Level for a minimum of 1 year. This allows the Trainer Candidate to be actively learning through List Serve, working with a mentor, attending Think Tank and/or local Conferences, and benefiting from the Positive Discipline Community.

Once certified as a Positive Discipline Trainer, your certification extends for three years. To re-certify, Positive Discipline Trainers are required to attend our Think Tank (at their own expense) at least every third year.
