Instructions: Please complete the following survey to the best of your ability. Only report materials generated within Geauga and Trumbull Counties in Ohio. The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District will use the information in this survey for summary purposes only to identify recycling rates in both counties.

Please report the amount of materials recycled in 2024 that were generated within Geauga or Trumbull County, Ohio, in the following table. The data in the tonnage columns are used to calculate the District's progress in meeting state and local recycling goals.

For data conversions assume the following:
2,000 pounds = 1 ton
3 cubic yards = 1 ton
1 gallon used oil = 7.5lbs
1 gallon of used antifreeze = 8lbs

Recycling totals can often be found on your recycling bill and/or waste hauler contract/agreement.
