Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC) FY2024 New Project Application 

The Chicago Continuum of Care (CoC) is pleased to announce the opening of the Chicago CoC’s 2024 New Project process for new HUD project funding for all eligible program component types through the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) FY2024 CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Competition. The FY 2024 CoC New Project funding is available for the following project model types:
  
  • Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)
  • Rapid Rehousing (RRH) 
  • Joint Component Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing (Joint TH PH-RRH) 
  • Transitional Housing (TH)

For details on the program model types, program expectations and outcomes, and minimum organizational requirements, please review the Chicago CoC’s Program Community Standards. Additionally, information regarding HUD CoC Program components and standards can be found on the HUD Exchange website.  

Funding Availability 
The FY2024 NOFO typically allows the Chicago CoC to apply for HUD CoC funding. In FY2024, Chicago is eligible to apply for up to $3,200,000 in CoC Bonus projects. The amount of Bonus funding allocated to new projects will be $2,640,000. This application is highly competitive and funding is not guaranteed by the Chicago CoC or HUD.
