Mentor Application

Thank you for your interest in joining our Community-Based Mentoring Program!
We truly appreciate your desire to support and empower students in our community.

To best accommodate end-of-year testing across our schools, please note that any applications submitted after March 1, 2026 will not be eligible for a mentee (student) match until the 2026–2027 school year. We welcome you to complete the application, and our office will be in touch over the summer regarding next steps, including interviews and training.

Steps to Become a Volunteer Mentor
 
1.    Be an adult 21 years and older.
2.    Complete a Volunteer Mentor Application.
3.    Complete the interview process.
4.    Attend a Volunteer Mentor Training Session.
5.    Complete the fingerprinting and background check process.
6.    You will then be matched with a student mentee or mentees.
