July 2024 Monthly Mission Shortcut

Complete the mission shortcut between July 1, 2024, and July 28, 2024, to be entered to win an $75 Amazon Gift Card! 

Shortcut steps:

1. Sign up for a trial of SolarWinds Service Desk here.
   NOTE: Use an incognito window or clear your cache/cookies if this link gives you any issues.
    
2. Using the left-hand navigation, open the setup menu.
    
3. In the Service Desk submenu, navigate to the ‘Automation Rules’ screen. Documentation for further assistance, if needed.
    
4. Create a new automation rule, using the ‘+’ symbol in the top right corner of the screen.
    
5. Fill out all of the required details for the setup of the rule (name, description, trigger, scope). Then, add your own condition or conditions for this rule.
    
6. Add an action or actions for your rule.
    
7. Hit ‘Save’ to create your rule.
    
8. ​​​​​​​Navigate back to the ‘Automation Rules’ screen to see your new automation.

9. ​​​​​​​Submit a screenshot of both steps 5 and 6.
