The objective of the World Bank Group Academy - Development Data program is to transform data into actionable knowledge, pro-poor policies and solutions, durable impact.
Our set of courses includes technical content, case studies, and collaborative learning across the full development data “value chain”:
· Data methods, standards, and collection: these modules focus on improving the availability and quality of development data, to make it useful, fit-for-purpose and available at the right time.
· Data management, curation, and governance: these modules focus on strengthening data management, including quality assurance and metadata standards for improved interoperability, as well as data privacy standards, and good practice data governance arrangements.
· Data analysis, visualization, dissemination, and use: these modules focus on analytical tools and techniques, to transform data into insights, policy solutions, content for mass public consumption, to inform decision-making at all levels in support of all Verticals.
