IDEA Study Phase 2: Survey of Organizations

WELCOME

Thank you for participating in this important study of accessibility practices at performing arts organizations in the USA and Canada.

By collecting self-reported data about current policies, practices, and services from performing arts organizations, this study will paint a picture of the state of the field’s efforts to advance disability inclusion and access.

The survey is being conducted as a free service through Audience Outlook Monitor. Aggregate survey results will be made available to all responding organizations via an online dashboard. A summary of key findings will be made available to the public for free on the Audience Outlook Monitor website.

Survey responses will be treated confidentially and data will be reported in aggregate only. No identifying information will be associated with individual survey responses in the dashboard or reports.

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete, once you have all of the necessary information available. Once you begin the survey, it is not possible to save your answers and return later. Therefore, we recommend downloading the document Respondent Instructions and Survey Protocol before you start, as it may be necessary for you to consult with colleagues on the answers to certain questions.
