About Voices that Inspire

Program Overview
Thank you for your interest in applying for cohort 5 of the Voices that Inspire Program. The Voices that Inspire Program, a partnership between Vital Voices Global Partnership and P&G, supports young women who are making a positive impact in Latin America. Through the program, we increase opportunities, leadership capacity, network, and resources for young women; sparking a global movement to create change and transform leadership. Cohort 5 of the Voices that Inspire Program will focus on supporting young women leaders from Brazil. 

Benefits
Through participating in the Voices that Inspire Program, participants will:

Complete the Vital Voices Leadership Journey, a 7-week virtual course focused on developing the soft skills required for leadership
Receive a certificate of completion post-program
Receive tailored mentorship 
Join the Vital Voices global network of more than 20,000 women leaders from around the world
Have the opportunity to apply for a small grant to support their social impact projects

Eligibility

Is 18-25 years old at the time of application and identifies as a woman

Demonstrated commitment to the Vital Voices core principles of leadership: innovative, collaborative, and driven by a clear sense of mission; has strong roots in her community; is committed to connecting across lines that divide

Is carrying out a social impact project, business, initiative, or other, OR

Has a clear idea for a project, business, initiative or other with an explicit social purpose

Is proficient in Portuguese and/or English

Program Commitment

Fully participate in the 7-week program, which includes 2-4 hours per week of live virtual sessions. Participants should have no more than 2 absences to remain in good standing and are expected to complete all assignments.

Participate in mentoring which includes 3-5 virtual or in-person meetings with assigned mentors during the 7-week program.

Provide requested updates to Vital Voices throughout the program and complete post-program surveys, including up to 1 year after the program.

Technical Requirements and Accessibility
The Voices that Inspire program will be virtual. You will need access to a computer with a camera or a phone and a reliable internet or network connection to fully participate in the program. 

Program Dates
The Voices that Inspire program is currently taking applications for cohort 5, which will take place in early 2025 March to May. Specific program days and times will be determined based on the availability of the selected cohort. 

Instructions
Applications should take around 20 minutes to complete and can be submitted in Portuguese or English. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

As soon as you start your application, you must click the “Save and Continue Later” box at the top right corner of the page and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a personal link that you can use to return to your application at any time. If you cannot locate an automated email from noreply@alchemer.com, please check your junk or spam folders. However, we recommend writing your responses to the short-answer questions in a separate document and pasting them into the application once you are ready to submit. This will prevent any loss of content as the system does not always successfully save unsubmitted applications. 

What happens after I apply?
