Flourishing in Ministry Assessment

Intro

Welcome to the Flourishing in Ministry Assessment!

This Assessment is designed to help you understand how well you're flourishing in your ministry. You will learn how you're doing in each of the four Flourishing dimensions:
  • Daily Wellbeing refers to the quality of our daily lives in a holistic sense – physically, emotionally, cognitively, relationally, spiritually, and vocationally. It includes how often we experience positive emotions and/or negative emotions. Daily Wellbeing includes having a generally positive evaluation of the quality of one’s life over time, such that we experience a sustained positivity.
  • Resilience is the capacity to adapt to the inevitable changes and challenges in life, achieve goals, and continue to grow. Resilience also includes the capacity to bounce back after experiencing adversity.
  • Thriving is experiencing meaning and purpose, having inspirational beliefs that guide us morally, and having deep, positive connections to God and other people.
  • Authenticity is made up by two dimensions: Dignity and Self-Integrity. Dignity refers to the experience of being treated with respect, and feeling valued just for who we are. Self-Integrity involves having a positive, stable sense of self-worth. Self-worth must be a balanced self-worth, meaning that we must embrace both our strengths and vulnerabilities.

This wellbeing assessment has approximately 120 questions and should take you 45 minutes or less to finish. You do not have to complete the assessment in one sitting. You may exit and return to finish where you left off.

This assessment also helps fuel research conducted by Biola University in the area of ministry leader wellbeing. Your participation provides insights that will benefit many ministry leaders like you. On the next screen you will receive more information regarding the research study and have the opportunity to provide your consent.

Thank you for coming to this Assessment, and we hope that your results help you flourish even more.
