AASLD Call for Mentee Applications - Promoting Leadership Potential for Women in Hepatology

The AASLD Women's Initiatives Committee is honored to invite female physicians and APPs, within the field of hepatology, to join our leadership program with the goal of promoting the development of leadership skills, including aspects unique to female practitioners. 

AASLD physician members who are within five years of completion of their ACGME clinical fellowship in North America are encouraged to apply to this program as well as APPs who are within 3-7 years after graduation.
 
Mentees will be paired with a senior AASLD faculty member and have the opportunity to meet virtually on a bimonthly basis, along with exclusive access to interactive webinars on topics of interest to the mentee group.

Please note that to be considered for this program, you must be:
AASLD Member
Female hepatologists (MD/DO) or advanced practice provider based in North America
Within 5 years of completion of an ACGME accredited gastroenterology or transplant hepatology fellowship if an MD/DO
Within 3 to 7 years of graduation from a PA or NP program and currently employed in a gastroenterology or hepatology practice

Available for bimonthly meetings November 2024 - November 2025, along with an in-person kick-off meeting at The Liver Meeting in San Diego, CA, November 15-19, 2024.

We anticipate the review process to conclude in late September.
