2024 Cancer Screening Survey

Welcome

The Center for Disease Control's U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends that adults ages 45-75 be screened for colorectal cancer. A colonoscopy is one of several screening tests for colorectal cancer. The decision to be screened between the ages of 76 and 85 should be made on an individual basis. If you are older than 75, talk to your doctor about screening.

Ashland County has a high incidence rate of colorectal cancer. Ashland County Health Department and the Health and Wellness Target Action group are interested in finding out why. Please consider helping us by completing the following survey. All answers are completely confidential and will only be reported in aggregate numbers as to afford confidentiality.

If you have any questions regarding this survey, please call the Ashland County Health Department's Nursing Division at 419-282-4357.
