Welcome to the 2024 application for the National Partnership for Women & Families’ Leading on Leave Index.
The application is comprised of sections regarding company leave statistics, internal company leave policies, and related leave policy questions. Responses to all the questions in the application should:
- Be based on the company’s leave policies and employee data as of your company's 2023 fiscal year, and
- Apply to your United States (U.S.) employee population only
The 2024 Leading on Leave application is designed to reward companies based on the level of disclosure they provide in the application as well as to showcase companies that have made strong commitments to supportive and inclusive leave policies. Companies are therefore encouraged to complete the entire application, answering all questions and not leaving any responses blank.
Note that the Leading on Leave Index is designed for companies in the private sector
only.
Nonprofit or governmental organizations are not eligible to apply.

application glossary to familiarize yourself with the terms used within the application. The application terms are based on current trends in paid leave and do not necessarily reflect best practices.
