The MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education welcomes educators from across the state to join our 2024-2025 networks. These networks are designed to support educators to advance teaching and learning across the Commonwealth. Through these networks, we invite current and/or aspiring leaders to collaborate and learn together.
Participants will connect with colleagues from across the Commonwealth in order to share resources and strategies towards equitably implementing the Massachusetts Content Frameworks in districts. Participants will continue to expand their own professional network and collaborate with other district leaders to exchange, adapt/refine resources, discuss/consult on strategies or initiatives, and plan actions for their district to incorporate equity-based structures and routines (e.g. professional development, structural change, institutional shifts).
In 2024-2025, we will offer general networks for school or district leaders (or their designees, e.g. teacher leader) in all subject areas, as well as several other networks aimed at a more targeted audience.
By registering, you acknowledge that you commit to our network community by:
- Attending and participating in sessions in the network series as you are able
- Disseminating the content and resources from the network meeting to your district teachers
Location and dates:
The networks may include both virtual and in-person meetings in order to build community and allow for varied modes of participation in that community. Registration does not require a commitment to attend all sessions. Tentative schedules are available on the 2024-2025 CIS Catalog: https://www.doe.mass.edu/instruction/program-catalog.html
