October 21-25, 2024 Mathematical Modelling of Tumour Immune Dynamics and Immunotherapies Funding Application

The Organizing Committee of the Workshop on Mathematical Modelling of Tumour Immune Dynamics and Immunotherapies invites funding applications for participation in the workshop. 

Target Date: July 31, 2024
Applications will be considered after the target deadline until all funds are assigned.

Application Process
Applications submitted by the target date will be given first priority. Support/funds are limited. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Eligibility Requirements
Faculty, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, or graduate students may apply. Priority will be given to postdoctoral fellows and graduate students presenting posters at the workshop.

Requests for Support
  • Funding support
    • one economy round-trip fare to and from Toronto.
    • local expenses (accommodation and per diem allowance).
      The maximum per diem is $100. Accommodations can be reimbursed up to a maximum of $300 per night. All amounts are in Canadian Dollars.

The statement of interest should explain how this workshop will strengthen your academic and/or professional development. You could, for example, write about
  • your reasons and motivations for attending the workshop,
  • how attending the workshop will assist you in your professional goals, 
  • the relationship between the workshop and your professional plans, or
  • what you hope to gain from your visit.
If you would like to present a poster at the workshop, please make sure to express your interest here.

Funding support requests should be for the minimum amount necessary to make Program participation possible.

Since we expect funding requests to greatly exceed available resources, you are encouraged to also seek other sources of financial support.
