DHWNZ 2024 Workshop Scholarship Application

Every year HiNZ offer scholarships to attend our pre-conference workshops. Workshop scholarships provide successful applicants with a pass to the WORKSHOP ONLY. Travel costs are NOT included and the successful applicant CANNOT also attend the conference. Full time students and industry/vendor employees are NOT eligible to apply for a workshop scholarship.

This year HiNZ is offering the following workshop scholarships:
  • eHealth Nursing workshop only (TEN available)
  • eAllied Health workshop only (TEN available)
  • AI in Health workshop only (TEN available)
SCHOLARSHIP ENTITLEMENTS: Workshop Scholarship recipients will receive a pass to their chosen workshop on Tuesday (3 December 2024) of Digital Health Week NZ in Hamilton. This pass will also allow recipients to attend the afternoon welcome session of the conference, but cannot attend the Wednesday or Thursday conference sessions.

Before you fill in this application form, please check whether you are eligible:
  • Must be first time attendee AND
  • Unable to get funding to attend AND
  • Not also attending the conference AND
  • You must be working for a health provider (public, private or community)

For the following two questions, please take the time to respond in detail and make your case for why you should be awarded one of the workshop scholarships. These responses will will play a large part in the Scholarship Review Panel's decision.
