2023–24 Social Studies Instruction & Assessment Reporting

Welcome to the Annual Data Reporting of Social Studies Education Programs Survey for the 2023–24 school year! Before proceeding, please review the following information.

PURPOSE
This survey fulfills a legislative mandate as stated in RCW 28A.230.095 (Essential academic learning requirements and assessments—Verification reports) by asking about Social Studies assessment in elementary, middle, and high school.

INSTRUCTIONS
This survey only allows one entry per district; it is important that someone familiar with your entire district's Social Studies program completes the survey. In many cases, this will be your district's curriculum director, or learning and teaching director. The survey will ask you to attest to whether or not you have met legislative requirements in RCW 28A.230.095. Please make sure you have the information you will need to make this attestation. Before completing the survey, we recommend that you gather all information you will need to attest the legislation. This survey will close on September 30, 2024.
