California Community Colleges Part-Time Faculty Office Hours Reimbursement Claim Form 2023-24

Education Code sections 87880 through 87885 establish the Community College Part-Time Faculty Office Hours Program to encourage community college districts to compensate part-time faculty who hold office hours related to their teaching load. Districts participating in the program annually report the number of eligible part-time faculty, number of eligible office hours, and total compensation for office hours to the Chancellor’s Office for reimbursement of no more than 50 percent of the total cost of the program.
