Thank you for your interest in participating in the City of Fort Collins' 2024 Independence Day Parade. This year’s parade is scheduled for Thursday, July 4, and will be part of a full day of Independence Day celebrations put on by the City.
Please note space is limited and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Completed applications must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
Parade entry pricing is listed below. Please note that bands and City of Fort Collins Departments are welcome to participate at no cost:
- Non-profit: $50
- Business: $100
After submission, your application will be reviewed by the selection committee. You will be notified by Friday, June 7 of your approval to participate in the parade. Once approved, you will receive the following:
- A confirmation email with instructions on how to acknowledge acceptance of the rules and regulations for the parade through DocuSign
- Instructions on how to submit payment for your parade entry fee. Please do not submit payment before receiving these instructions.
At the parade, all entries will be judged by a panel of community members on the following categories: Community Spirit, Patriotism, and Innovation. The parade theme is of course Independence Day, but the feature focuses on the Olympics as we approach the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Summer Games. Please keep this in mind as you work on your decorations! Points will be totaled to determine an Overall Winner, who will be awarded a free pool party at City Park Pool for their organization!
