The AOC is dedicated to support WA State courts provide language access services. We have recently made several updates to our language access materials which are now available for order. For your convenience the order form along with descriptions of the free available resources are below.

Below is the list of AOC Language access materials currently available for order. Please review the brief descriptions and click on the title of each item to see a digital version. You can also use the digital version to print copies on your own. Please note, there is no cost associated with ordering these materials.

Shipping times may vary based on the size of the order and the amount of materials in stock.

I-Speak Cards 
This small, multilingual booklet is a set of flip-cards that allows individuals to find and select their language. They can be used at front counters and other points of contact in the court. Available in 4X6.5" 

Multilingual Right to Interpreter Poster 
Our laminated Multilingual Poster states in 24 languages, "You may have the right to a court-appointed interpreter in a court case. Please ask someone at the court information desk." The poster can be placed in the hallways, waiting rooms, and other locations at the courthouse. Available in 24X36"

Benchcard for-Spoken Languages and Benchcard for-Sign Language Interpreters 
Benchcards provide judges a quick guide for working with interpreters in the court. They include key topics, terms, a flow chart, and example languages to use when swearing in interpreters. There are separate benchcards for sign and spoken languages. Laminated copies of the benchcards are available from the AOC. Available in 8.5X11"
