2024-25 Professional Learning Cohort Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Human Capital Professional Learning Cohort (PLC). Please read the program description below and complete and submit your application to be considered for selection into the cohort. Selection will occur on a rolling basis through September 1, 2024, but space is limited. We encourage interested organizations to apply early to secure a spot in the cohort. 

Program Description

The Human Capital Professional Learning Cohort (PLC) is a learning and networking opportunity for educational organizations in Ohio (e.g., school districts, regional service centers, community schools). Through this experience, teams from organizations across the state will learn about and apply human capital best practices, and receive feedback and support from peers and industry experts. 

The program will kick off on October 29, 2024 with a meeting for all participating organizational decision-makers (and optionally, team members of their choosing). Session participants will learn more about the program and complete a needs assessment to help identify a human capital improvement project. Following the meeting, they will select their teams based on their project area.  

Monthly workshops for all participating teams will begin in January 2024. To ensure a productive, collaborative learning experience, the expectation is for every team to have at least one member present at each of the workshops. Each participating organization will also engage in three coaching sessions to support the refinement and implementation of their project. Throughout the cohort cycle, teams will plan and begin to implement their projects. Following the cohort experience, participants will present their work to a regional, state, or national audience at a time and through a format of their choice (e.g., webinar, conference).  

Workshop Dates
Workshops will take place on Tuesdays from 12:30–2:00pm ET.

Coaching Sessions
Coaching sessions will be scheduled for a time that works for the organization's project team.
