This form will collect your contact details and provide an overview of the volunteering opportunities. The festival runs from Saturday, June 15, through Wednesday, June 19. Volunteers can sign up for multiple opportunities throughout the festival
but the bulk of volunteers are needed on Wednesday, June 19th.
- Saturday, June 15: Opening Night Celebration at Bethesda Jazz and Blues Supper Club
- Sunday, June 16: Interfaith Sunday Service at Bethesda North Marriott
- Monday, June 17: Basketball Clinic at Cabin John Middle School
- Tuesday, June 18: Football Clinic at Winston Churchill High School
- Wednesday, June 19: All day activities at Cabin John Village and Cabin John Regional Park

Opening Night Celebration

Volunteer Time: 3 - 8 pm
The fifth annual Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival will kick off at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club with a night of music and dancing. Volunteers will help set up and support registration and merch tables, help with wayfinding, and support the photo booth.

Interfaith Breakfast
Sunday, June 16
Event Time: 10 am - 1 pm
Volunteer Time: 8:30 am - 2 pm
Join Scotland AME Zion Church for a special interfaith Sunday Service with other local faith leaders. Volunteers will help set up and support the registration and merch tables and wayfinding for guests.

On Wednesday 19th, Cabin John Village will host a car show, an art show, live performances, and a community partner fair. Roles and duties are listed below. Please note duties can evolve and flexibility will be appreciated!

Overflow Parking
On Wednesday 19th, overflow parking will be available at Bells Mill Elementary School, Cabin John Middle School, and Winston Churchill High School. Each parking lot have its own team to help manage parking availability and guide guests to trolley stop.
