NVI Resident Experience Survey 2024

Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Neighborhood Vitality Index survey! The results of the survey are designed to help community development organizations, funders and city government track progress in Detroit’s neighborhoods over time.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Your answers are confidential, and will never be shared in a way that includes your name, address, or other information that identifies you.

Any person living in Detroit can participate. The person answering the survey must be 18 or older and must live at the reported address most of the time. If you are currently in the process of moving or without permanent housing and want to speak with someone regarding where to send your gift card, please call (313) 290-0992.

Complete responses from eligible Detroit residents will be provided with a $25 gift card. Instructions for receiving the gift card are written at the end of the survey. To receive the gift card, you must be able to prove that you live in the City of Detroit.
