2024 Mission Partner Renewal

Become a Partner in Mission: THE Power of ONE

“…If a shepherd has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray?  And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.  So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.”   Matthew 18:12-14

LIVING the FIVE FOUNDATIONAL STONES

Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.”  Romans 12:2

Why?  We are made in the image and likeness of God.  No matter how broken we are or how much we feel we have failed in His eyes, His heart is always open – longing and waiting for us to return.  As we open our hearts to the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, it is through active prayer that we develop a deep and long-lasting love of our Lord.

The Five Foundation Stones of Adoration, Rosary, Reconciliation, Fasting (from appetites that draw us away from Him), and Scripture (reflection on His word & creating daily resolutions) are all ways that we fulfill the happiness that our hearts seek.

2. I commit to actively live the five foundational stone of faith to grow in holiness.

BELONGING WITHIN OUR PARISH COMMUNITY

For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them.”  Ephesians 2:10

Why?  Thriving within your parish community means so much more than attending Mass. We need to actively participate in the life of the church to continue to grow in discipleship so that we can go out to share the good news and bring the love and mercy of Jesus Christ to others who are in need of Him.  The talents that we have are not coincidences – God has given each one of us unique abilities, skills and talents to be used and shared with the one body of Christ.  Two thousand years ago, Jesus asked the Apostles to go out and make disciples by bringing souls to Him:  our mission remains the same today.

3.
Growing in discipleship calls us to actively participate in our parish community. What talents, gifts and charisms can you share to help others grow in holiness?

What abilities; talents, skills, charisms do you have to share with others?
(i.e. like to entertain; arranging flowers; carpentry; knitting; photography/videography; caring for children; etc.)

 SUPPORTING our PARISH COMMUNITY

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”  Matthew 6:19-21

Why? The secular world tells us that the money we have should only serve our needs & desires. By trusting completely in God, we release ourselves from this secular world thinking. Money should not be a barrier to what God is calling us to do.  We are all called to give back to God as He has abundantly blessed us.  Will you help grow his kingdom?

Jesus relied on His 12 Apostles to spread the good news. As we evolve into a mission-driven parish, financial resources will be needed as we support people, facility and future growth such as:

People – A strong, dedicated faith-filled staff who are called to actively engage and support our parish community in the following ways:

  • Provide excellent youth education that supports the teachings of the Catholic Church and incorporate strong academics to equip our children to be highly educated, faith-filled adults.
  • Engage all demographic groups into the life of the Church.
  • Form and catechize parishioners to understand their discipleship call, to build relationships with God and each other, to be a witness to others to place souls on a head-on collision with the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
  • Seek excellence in everything that we do to bring honor and glory to God.
  • Provide opportunity for spiritual growth by becoming a Spiritual Mentor to others.
