The AAPM&R Physiatrist in Training (PHiT) Board is calling for nominations for Executive Committee (officer) candidates and committee/liaison appointments. We will hold only one call for nominations.

Completed applications, including personal statement and curriculum vitae, must be received by July 10, 2024 at 11:59pm CT.
Who can apply to be a PHiT Board member?
- Residents: Any interested AAPM&R resident members (PGY1-PGY4) may apply for officer or board appointments, with the exception of PHiT Board President. *Only PHiT Board Members who previously served on the board are eligible to run for PHiT Board President.
- Associate Fellow: Any interested AAPM&R associate fellow members may apply as a strategic coordinating committee liaison. PHiT Board participation also requires that officers/liaisons are resident/associate fellow members of the Academy at the time of appointment.
What is required?
- A one-year commitment is required for most positions.
- 3 in-person PHiT Board meetings (one in Chicago in Winter 2025, and the 2024 and 2025 Annual Assemblies)
- This would require time off for travel to and from Chicago, IL and the Annual Assemblies. Attendance at the winter meeting is required. Attendance at the Annual Assemblies is highly encouraged.
- Quarterly virtual meetings or as needed for the PHiT Board
- Any relevant committee or related meetings.
- Input sought by email regularly – engagement is highly encouraged
