A-LIST Panelist Application

What is the A-LIST?

The Adolescent Literacy Intervention Tool (A-LIST) provides information about literacy intervention programs for grades 4–12 to help educators make informed intervention program choices. The A-LIST convenes educator panels to review available evidence on materials' alignment to the recommendations in the IES Practice Guide: Providing Reading Interventions for Students in Grades 4–9 as well as to culturally and linguistically sustaining practices.

To be eligible to participate as an A-LIST panelist, applicants must:
  • have experience teaching literacy in grades 4–12, especially in intervention settings,
  • have strong knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction, and
  • have strong knowledge of culturally and linguistically sustaining practices.
The A-LIST project is committed to centering the voices of those who have been historically marginalized in public education and strongly encourages Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, other educators of color, and members of other historically marginalized groups to apply.

Applications are being gathered on a rolling basis and will be reviewed as panel scoring opportunities become available.
