  • Enslaved Life in Virginia
  • Life of a Civil War Soldier
  • Revolutionary War/Colonial Life...and more!

Trunks Programs:
  • Connect students to their local history inside their own classroom
  • Include interactive, hands-on opportunities for students to learn the craft of history firsthand
  • Fulfill History and Social Science Virginia Standards of Learning
  • $30 for a One Week Rental, $50 per program with staff, or $150 for a full day with staff

By reserving a Traveling Trunk from the Office of Historic Preservation, the user agrees to borrow the trunk for an agreed upon time period not to extend seven (7) days; pick up and return the trunk at an agreed upon time and location; fill out the inventory checklist and ensure all items are present and in their original condition. *This question is required.
