Campus Safety Impact Award Application
This award will highlight a program or initiative at an institution of higher education that demonstrates innovation, collaboration, and equity in enhancing safety on campus. Entries can include a recently developed or longstanding program or initiative that contributes to creating safer campus communities. Please note that capital improvements will not be considered for the award unless they are part of a larger programmatic effort or initiative. All nominated programs/initiatives must have been implemented at an institution of higher education at any point between 2018-2024.
Clery Center staff, in partnership with the Center’s National Advisory Council, will assess the entries according to how they address each of the following criteria:

Demonstration of significant impact in one or more of the following: reducing violence or harm, increasing access to or awareness of resources, enhancing feelings of safety, or improving policies and procedures related to safety

Relevance to Clery Center’s mission of creating safer campuses

Collaboration with cross-campus and/or off-campus partners

Innovation in developing new approaches to meet the evolving needs of the community

Commitment to advancing equity and inclusion
Entries can be submitted by someone directly involved in the nominated program/initiative or by someone who is familiar with it. The individual responsible for implementing the program may be contacted to provide additional information.
Entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday June 5.
