BNI Coal Scholarship Application

BNI Coal, Ltd. is now accepting scholarship applications!

Deadline to apply is April 14, 2024.

Eligibility:

Must be a dependent of an employee who has been employed by BNI Coal for at least one year
Must be a senior in high school, high school graduate, or have received a General Educational Diploma (GED); and, be between the ages of 17-21 at time of application for scholarship
Must not be a recipient of a BNI Coal scholarship in the past (any applicants who have received a past scholarship will not be considered)
Must fill out required application and provide any documentation necessary to complete the application process
Must provide further documentation as requested by the Company
Must provide proof of enrollment in a post-secondary educational institution
The dependent is eligible to receive a one-time scholarship only

Process:

Any and all dependents who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out an application for scholarship
Upon completion and submittal of application, all applications will be reviewed
Applicants will be notified of their scholarship award with a congratulatory letter
Expectations of the recipient will be noted in congratulatory letter
Within two weeks of the recipient’s start date of school and proof of enrollment, BNI Coal will make a payment directly to the educational institution
