Assumption University's Leadership in Teaching Application 2024- 2025

Leadership in Teaching Program at Assumption University

Leadership in Teaching Program Overview:

The Leadership in Teaching Program is a year-long experiential learning program including cohort-based course work, training, planning, and teaching. The program culminates with the participants leading mathematics educational activities for high school students, providing early exposure to a teaching experience. Students work together to develop Camp AIM (Assumption Institute of Mathematics) content through coursework leading up to the summer camp and then deliver instruction during the week-long summer program.

Camp AIM is a weeklong summer day camp for local first and second-year high school students to have fun with mathematics and learn in a hands-on environment.
