Join this project to help co-design an area-based approach to the planning and delivery of low-carbon heat.
We are looking for people from across the planning and delivery of low-carbon heat to contribute to this project (such as government, industry stakeholders, community groups and households). We will gather the views of people involved through workshops alongside some individual discussions and other engagement opportunities.

- Joining one of the co-creation workshops (3 in-person, 1 online);
- scheduling a discussion online with the project team;
- and/or sending us your thoughts by email (on policy note or blueprint)

About the project
This project aims to test an ambitious approach to the coordinated planning and delivery of low-carbon heat. We’re interested in whether more homes could be offered the chance to switch to low-carbon heat together, on a street-by-street basis, and we want to understand what may be the best way to deliver that.
This project will build on the experience of those already working in the space to co-create a "policy blueprint" based on service design principles. The policy blueprint will visualise the actors, steps, and interactions, as well as the bodies or individuals critical to the delivery of a policy.
You can read our early policy proposal here which will be refined through this project. See our project page for more details about the workshops and project.
