Group discussions, or focus groups, generally consist of a group of 6 to 8 people, moderated by an experienced market researcher. Group discussions run for approximately 1 to 2 hours and are mostly conducted in the evenings. Participants are paid an honorarium to cover their time & expenses for being involved.
