The Cal Poly First-Year Success Program (FSP) is a mandatory program for freshman who are on academic probation for the first time. FSP aims to provide students with the skills, resources, and support they need to move toward success in future quarters.
We need your help to support these students! We are looking for diverse faculty, staff, and graduate students to serve as Academic Coaches and lead a small group of students at our FSP Workshops on April 8th and 9th.
The requirements for FSP Coaches are as following:
- Complete the following survey by Wednesday, March 20th so that we can gather information regarding your preferences, background, and availability.
- Attend the virtual FSP Coaches' Training on Friday, March 22nd from 10:00am-11:30am to learn about the program structure, timeline, materials, and more.
- Details will be shared via Outlook Calendar invite.
- Make-ups are available by request - email anamos@calpoly.edu and continue completing this form.
- Serve as an FSP Coach at the workshop on April 8th or April 9th for a small group of students.
- Check-in via email with assigned students during Week 5 for support.
We appreciate your willingness to participate! Our students need our support now more than ever.
- Annie Amos, FSP Coordinator for the Mustang Success Center (anamos@calpoly.edu)
