Would you like to try out a piece of 3D printed assistive technology with your learners, but do not have a 3D printer? You can now request 3D printed items through the Alt+Shift Lending Library and have it shipped at no cost to Michigan public schools. Be aware this may change based on availability of funding.
If the item is a fit for your student, please keep it and use it. If the item is not a fit, please consider returning it so it can be trialed with another student.
Before completing this form, you must find or create a customized STL file. A
list of available tools is available. Don't see what you are you looking for? Request to have an item added to the list. Some sources for additional assistive technology are
Makers Making Change and
Thingiverse (try searching for "Assistive Technology" to help you browse). Note: Alt+Shift can only do the 3D printing. You would be responsible for any additional manufacturing and/or materials if required.
Next, complete this form.
Last, wait to receive your confirmation email. Respond to that email by providing your name, and attaching the STL file.
