The ACLP Foundation Research Professor should be an active researcher in consultation-liaison psychiatry but does not need to be a psychiatrist. The research work of the nominee should be predominantly C-L psychiatry-focused. Membership in and/or contributions to ACLP are not a factor in the selection of the recipient. Nominations may be made by the candidates themselves or by others on their behalf.
