Community Care is launching a new series, My Brilliant Colleague, asking social workers to celebrate the successes of their fellow practitioners.
Each week we will be publishing one of your stories about a colleague, such as a fellow social worker, team manager, practice educator or student.
To nominate someone, write a paragraph of 100 - 250 words in the box below explaining why. This could be about:
- a difficult case they worked on;
- going the extra mile for a person they support;
- support they provided to you, the team or another colleague;
- a challenge they overcame;
- their innovative approach to social work.
This could be in the form of a letter (eg Dear Elena, ....) or a paragraph detailing their accomplishments.
Take care to avoid providing identifying information about children or adults using services.
If your submission is selected for publication, we will contact you to confirm that your colleague would like to be featured, and check whether either of you would like to be kept anonymous in the article.
