Application For "Basic Course" All States

If you’re an established STUDEX piercer that requires a certificate of achievement and no training from STUDEX, this basic course is for you! This course is a requirement for all piercers in California and New Jersey as well as licensed cosmetologists in Virginia and Ohio. Piercers in any other state / industry nationwide are welcome to apply for this course. You will receive a basic certificate of achievement from STUDEX upon completion. If you prefer more detailed hands-on training, a degree with our highest level of certification, exclusive discounts, STUDEX BUCKS and access to ongoing training support, apply for our "Pro Course" instead.

IMPORTANT: Before applying, confirm with your State and County Health Department that no additional restrictions, license or permit is required to offer ear piercing in your area. If so, follow the additional processes to ensure you’re compliant with your local health department.

professional services in the U.S., you do not meet the criteria to

partner with STUDEX and purchase ear piercing products wholesale.


We welcome you to setup a non-business account to purchase

our non-piercing studs and aftercare products for your personal use.

The Basic Course requires you to be an existing STUDEX customer or own

a business in the U.S. If you are a service professional, apply for our Pro Course

instead and provide 2 forms of proof, we accept the following.  

Proof of Professional Services
  • Cosmetology license
  • Professional Website
  • Social Media Page (services being your primary content)
  • Salon / Concierge Site (including your name)
  • Proof of Current Status with On-Demand Service Apps
  • Agency Representation
  • Call Sheets (within 6 months or less)
