As more state health departments, local health departments, and organizations implement PrEP and/or PEP Assistance Programs – or expand their programs to meet the evolving HIV and/or STI prevention needs – NASTAD is interested in modernizing and updating its
directory of assistance programs to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
PrEP/PEP Assistance Programs provide financial support to cover the cost of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and/or non-occupational post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) care. Some Assistance Programs cover the cost of HIV PrEP or PEP medications, labs, or clinical care for uninsured patients; other programs may provide insurance premium or cost-sharing (e.g., deductible, copayments, or coinsurance) assistance to cover the cost of PrEP- and/or PEP-related services. Additionally, some programs are providing assistance with doxycycline PEP, or DoxyPEP, to prevent bacterial sexually transmitted infections.
If your program would like to be featured in NASTAD's PrEP/PEP Assistance Program Directory, please fill out the following questionnaire to the best of your ability. If you have questions or require assistance completing the survey, please contact us at:
