Spirit of Struggle Congregations Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in learning more about becoming a Spirit of Struggle Congregation.  The Spirit of Struggle: Activating and Enlivening Congregations in Doing Justice is a collaboration between Kairos Center and Showing Up for Racial Justice to address rising white Christian nationalism across the country and to support congregations in leading ministries of justice.  Through the Spirit of Struggle program we will facilitate a learning process for congregations to (a) be equipped for ministries of justice through better understanding poverty, racism, and white Christian nationalism in their communities, (b) engage in ministries with community partners to meet the needs in their communities of those impacted by poverty, racism, and white Christian nationalism, and (c) reflect on and further prepare for ministries of justice and embodying the gospel call to preach good news to the poor, set the oppressed free, and proclaim jubilee!

The specific plans for the program are still coming together.  We expect to launch the program in summer 2024.  Please use this form to indicate your interest in learning more about the program and we will be in touch as more details are announced.  Reach out to Rev. Jessica Williams (jessica@kairoscenter.org) with any questions in the meantime!
