Oregon Multilingual State Plan: Administrator and Educator Survey

Education Northwest, a nonprofit research organization in Portland, is working with the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to develop a statewide plan to improve education for multilingual students in the state. To support this work, we are surveying school, district, and Education Service District educators and administrators. This survey should take 20 minutes to complete and is funded by the ODE. You will have the option to complete the survey in one sitting, or to save your progress and return to it later.

The survey will ask about the services available to multilingual students in your district. It will also ask how well you think those services support students. Finally, it will ask for your recommendations on how the ODE can improve services in the state. Participation is voluntary, you do not have to answer questions you do not want to and can stop anytime. Your decision to participate will not affect you or your position. Your responses to the survey will be saved in a secured, online cloud storage managed by Education Northwest. Only combined responses will appear in reports. Education Northwest will only use the survey responses to help develop the plan. All data will be erased at the end of the project.

You will not receive any direct benefits, but your feedback will help develop the statewide plan, which in turn will lead to improved services and experiences for multilingual children in our collective care.
