Out-of-School Field Trips

Out-of-School Field Trips Request Form

You will self-guide through the museum. This allows you the flexibility to explore the exhibits at your own pace, while still having friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions. Most out-of-school groups spend about 2 hours on this field trip. We will provide you and your chaperones with copies of our Time Traveler Adventure Guide!

Available dates: June 10 - August 9, 2024.
Exclusion dates: June 19, July 4 & 5, August 1.

11. What time will you arrive for your field trip? (Field trip duration in the museum is 2 hours.)
12. Are you planning to eat lunch at History Colorado Center? 


Please note that our Camp Colorado lunch space is not available. However, you are welcome to eat in our outside areas on the 12th Avenue side of the Museum! In the event of inclement weather, we may be able to offer you a conference room where you can eat "picnic-style" on the floor; however, please have a back-up plan of your own. 

The Cafe is not available for groups.

  • When you reach the next page, please first find a date with enough availability, and then adjust the Quantity of students. 
  • Your field trip is fully booked after you have gone through the whole checkout process! If you do not check out, we will not have a record of your date/time selection.
