The purpose of the Certified Peer Specialist Advisory Committee (CPSAC) is to advise the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) in its support and oversight of certified peer specialists and certified parent peer specialists.

The CPSAC is seeking committee members who have experience in agencies and communities where certified peer specialists and certified parent peer specialists are working or seeking work.
Members of the CPSAC must be available to attend quarterly meetings (four per year) of the full CPSAC as well as monthly or bimonthly meetings of a CPSAC subcommittee. Members of the CPSAC must be willing to complete tasks between meetings.

A committee will review all completed applications. The administrator of the Division of Care and Treatment Services will make the final decision on the selection of new committee members.
Note: All meetings of the full CPSAC and CPSAC subcommittees are held using Teams until further notice. Teams training and support is available if needed. All CPSAC and subcommittee meetings are open meetings. Interested parties may attend the meetings and share during public comment periods.
